Sound

Sound is arguably on par with video as the most important element to be able to manipulate and control during production and post production. Too often filmmakers focus all of their attention on video footage and ignore the quality of their sound. Interestingly enough, audiences seem to be more annoyed by poor sound quality than by poor cinematography.

Taken: Dialogue

Bryans Quote here is extremely power because the soley digetic 59 second speech, there is no outlet of background noise, there is no drastic outputs of sound it is just centred on his voice, backedup by the determination and grimace within his voice, slowly building up tension. This scene. This demonstrates how sometimes the lack of drastic sound effects and voices can be just as strong within a scene.

Star Wars: Music

The Star Wars' non digetic intro scene introduces a dramatic feel to the film, it builds up nostalgia for most fans, and for new ones it applifies the 'first experience' because the music is so well colaborated and pieced together in puts these viewers in awe, raising the anticipation of what will follow.
